I was given a source code file which I am trying to support. A client (ClientName.accdb) file runs on a user's local PC and accesses a Server file (ServerName.mdb) on a local Network. The network managers changed the Network names and now the program can't access it's server data.
The system was designed so that if the client can't find the database, it gives the user a message saying the database is down for maintenance and then immediately shuts down the application.
The result is that I can't bring the Source Code Application to a condition that I can access the Link Manager to change where the client looks for the database!
I realize that I can design this system in a way to not have this issue, but, in the meantime, is there a way I can get this application to stop and let me use the Link Manager? I've tried pressing Cntr-Break, but that does seem to work!
Thanks,
