I am fairly new to Access having been tied up in Excel for so many years. I'm teaching myself as I go along so am reliant on great forums like this one and YouTube videos. I haven't managed to find anything yet that helps with my issue so am hoping there is someone reading this that knows a solution.
My company's warehouse management system can export reports to CSV file that I have always imported into Excel without issue. The problem I am having putting them into Access is that all text fields contain a formula that tells Excel the value is text. Obviously Excel simply calculates the formula and displays the result plus if I really want to get rid of the formulas I can copy all and paste values.
The problem is that Access imports them as text and therefore displays the formula with the text, (See picture of import wizard). I just want the text in brackets / parentheses to show and to strip out the =t("").
Can anyone help with this?
