automate search for a specific record in a form

I want to create a command button on my command form that when clicked open a form will allow the user to locate a specifc job number (one of my fields), based upon the number they enter.

In other words, if they want to go to job # 429871 to edit their order, they just click the command button, and enter "429871". I know I can do that via a query, but I don't want the user to see datasheet view--it's too confusing. I want them to be brought direct to the form, to the specific record they indicate.
Could somebody point me in the right direction? Thank you!

Here's a free video that should do what you want to accomplish. (keyword search) It will lead you through the code.
