    Question Need help with my college work!

    Hi I have a database assignment and I really don't have a clue what to do with it, the question is;

    Create a query (called qryFixtureDetails) which returns Date and location of each fixture, the names of the home and away teams, the referees name and the home and away scores (if they have been recorded).

    Could any one give me a talk through of how I am meant to do that? I know how to make a query I just don't know how to link across multiple tables and fields, and to get the criteria to match up. Sorry I know I haven't explained myself very well, if you need more info please ask.

    Thanks in advance! Jonny

    Generally speaking, start a query in design view. Add the tables you need data from to the design grid. If the join lines don't appear automatically, add them (since you have relationships defined, they will probably appear automatically). Add the fields desired from each table to the columns below the tables grid.
