Confusion in Tutorial 21

In the tutorial; shown in the above link, it says under

Practical Learning: Using the Boolean Data Type

1. If the field Templates windows are not available, on the Ribbon, click Datasheet and in the Fields Columns section, click New Field.

the Field Templates, from the Basic Fields section, drag checkbox and drop it in on the right side of stories.

Now what in the world is it talking about? This is simply not clear.
