Wink form goes blank in all views ater inserting a field from another table

I was creating a form in access 2013. I'm trying to relate 3 tables in one form. First table is empty. Second table is a complete database. the first 2 tables are related okay. But when I'm trying to insert a field from the third table, which is a complete database, the form goes blank. I tried to change from layout view to design view and form view. It stays blank. Appreciate any kind of help.

PS/ I'm kind of new in this access thing

It is better for you and for readers if you have a clear statement of what you are trying to do. This becomes the objective or specification and will be your reference as you begin development, testing etc.

This seems to be jumbled and unclear.

A blank form usually indicates that there are no records to display, and the form's Data Entry property is not set to "Yes".

The fact that your first table is empty means you will never see data unless the you do use Data Entry = Yes.

As Orange said, please give a better description of what you are trying to do.

First of all. Sorry for the jumbled and unclear explanations. Kinda new to these thread things and new to access. I'll try to explain as detailed as possible.

Currently i have 3 tables. Table 1 is empty. Table 2 has some incomplete fields. Table 3 also has some incomplete fields. What i want to do is create a form that can add, edit and view data on all 3 tables. So far I'm only able to add fields from table 1 and table 2 and relate them with each other. But whenever i want to add a field from table 3 into the form, the form goes blank. I even tried to change between layout, design and form views. But it stays blank. I hope this is detailed enough.

    danish-KA,

I recommend you work through this tutorial from RogersAccessLibrary. It starts with a clear description of the "business", and leads you through a process to design your database -tables and relationships - to meet your business requirements. It includes a solution.

It takes about 45 minutes to work through, and i believe it would help you with terminology and concepts. May be the best use of 45 minutes at this time.

The Hernandez method is well worth the read.

    Good luck.

Glad to hear that. Did you try the tutorial?
I find it easier to work from a clear description of WHAT is to be solved.
Build a model. Test the model with data.
Adjust as needed until it meets the requirement.
Now you have a blue print for the data base structure.

Here's another link that may be useful
    Stump the model approach

    Good luck

Most likely its because you need a record to exist in each table because of the way you set up the query. The form will display the related records for your selection. If in one table there is no related record then it will come back null for the whole query.

    Hope that makes sense.
