Access Table problems

I am creating a database to help track my students progress but I have hit upon a snag.



I have created a series of tables

tblCourse
tblUnit
tblStrand

These all relate to the work the pupils have to do

tblStudent
tblClass

These all relate to the pupils in each class. I have linked class and course together and I can runn a query which will tell me every strand that a pupil has to complete to achieve the qualification.

I have also created a table called

tblStrandStudent where I will record what the pupils have actually achieved.

I am having a problem creating a form that will show me the pupil, then all the strands they are assinged to and allow me to add a grade

Mabe you can give us more info on the "problem" you have.
Why can't you do it? Are there relationship issues or subform issues or are you new to access or what is the problem in more detail?

I have created a query that shows me every strand related to every pupil and then copied and pasted every pupilID and StrandID from this query into the other table.

This is not a very elegant solution but it works.

Is there a macro or something that would automatically do this.

If the db is not to big you could maybe attach it so I can have a look at it.
