Hi. I need to be able to print off 2 shipping lists for different postage suppliers (untracked posting and tracked posting). I have a series of orders that I pulled out of my access DB using a query (1 row per order). The user needs to decide which of the 2 shipping methods he wants to use for each order (this selection cant be done in a query as it is dependent on the weight of the parcel which I do not know in the DB). I want to make it very quick to decide which of the 2 shipping method to use for each order. 80% of the time it will be untracked, 20% tracked. For each order the user needs to specify one other item. Where the package should go 1st or 2nd class. Once selected I need to print the 2 "sub lists" and the chosen class of service (1st or 2nd) onto pre-defined sheets (basically A4 sheets of paper with specific locations for name, address, etc). Once printed I need to record the shipping method in a field in the order record.
I was hoping to get some advice and help in how best to setup the form to make it easy to select orders and to print the sub-lists. It is a daily process and there is between 10 and 50 orders to be printed at the end of the day.
Has anyone do something similar or has a good idea how to structure the form and what controls to use?
