Access 2010 crashes during text export when ADVANCED is selected

When using Export Wizard to text in Access 2010, when clicking on the advanced button access crashes. This started to happen after 10/11/2015 updates.

The issue has been a problem for months. I cannot believe it is still a problem. My company is pushing updates regularly...

I suggest you post a zipped copy of your database if you want some assistance.
If you are just saying that there may be issues with some recent updates, then I think we would have heard more complaints. Still, it could be update related, but my guess is that is unlikely.

    Thanks for the link.
The last info I saw there was Dec 14, 2015.

    The article notes
This update (KB2837592) might be a cause, please remove it to test. If this issue still exists, please remove all the KBs installed on Nov.11....George Zhao

    Thank you George,

It works after uninstalling this update. Is Microsoft going to release a fix to this update or does it have to be uninstalled in all computers?
    Regards,
    Joćo

I have not seen posts related to that issue in this forum. And I did not see any further action or inquiry in the link you provided.
Perhaps someone else has more info for you.

NOTE: This is not necessarily a M$oft approved response.
I did a little more research and found this at

Access 2010 crashes if you have patch KB2837592 and/or KB3114404

    Lee Sanders / December 15, 2015 / No Comments
This only affects one of our customers, so it’s a fairly rare issue but you may be seeing this if you use Access 2010.
After installing the November or December updates for Access 2010, you may encounter a crash while performing a text file import/export.
The crash occurs if you click on the *Advanced* button within the Import/Export wizard. The fix is to remove these two patches.

Thanks... I saw all these threads. Unfortunately, updates get pushed to my machine via the Borg and they are unwilling to back them out. I was able to work around this issue until today... I had hoped MS had addressed the issue in subsequent updates.

    Thanks again

    Hi Ted,

Could you please try installing this update for Access 2010? It was released in January to fix this crashing issue in Access 2010.
    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3114555

I just tried this on a test machine and after installing the update, Access 2010 no longer crashed when clicking the Advanced button.

Let me know the results; the Access product team is interested to know if this solves your issue.

    Thanks,
