Nul results expression

Hi I have a query which calculates certain fields. I have the following but cannot get the result to show as currency even though the property format in the query design is set to currency

IIf(([Total Net]+[MOT]+[VAT]) Is Null,"No Value",[Total Net]+[MOT]+[VAT])

IIf(ISNULL([Total Net]+[MOT]+[VAT]))...

I never bother with formatting in queries. I do formatting on form and report.
