    How to print out SQL statements and copy queries in Design View to Word

    Well Goodday, I am actually a high schooler at Wolmer's Boys' High in Jamaica. I am doing a SBA on database, spreadsheet and word processing. NOw i have finished all the work but i have problems on how to print the database part. Well in a part of the instruction, it asked me to print out all the SQL statements and also to copy and print the Design View to Word, have been looking for a long time for how to do this, but NO LUCK. This SBA is due January 6,2016. I am asking kindly for aid and everyone have a great day.

    can you not just view in SQL and copy and paste? have you looked at the database documenter in the database tools tab?

    Edit: Hah, it took me five minutes to find the tool /Edit

    Have you looked into the Database Documenter tool? Within the Ribbon and under Database Tools there is the option, "Database Documenter". You can select items like Queries, Tables and such.

    If you are in Design View of a Query Object, you cannot see the SQL. You can see the SQL in SQL View.

    The only tool I know of that you can use is the one described. If you want to use VBA, you can do that.

    do you have any examples of a finished product from the teacher? you stated earlier that he wants two things. "it asked me to print out all the SQL statements and also to copy and print the Design View to Word," I would suggest if this is the case to pull up in SQL, copy and paste, then pull up in Design and use the snipping tool to take a screen shot. both could be pasted to word.

    @A`Le
    I am wondering the same thing. Can you provide us an example of what the assignment is? Maybe include the part that causes you to believe this has to be done in design view.
