    Window Not Responding

I find that in my applications where I run a routine that can take long amounts of time, and where I have screen updates happening that when I move the cursor away from the application to another application that the screen will lose focus and I can't see the screen updates happening. The access window will go hazy and I will get "not responding" at the top. I will have to wait until the application finishes before the screen will recover.
How can I fix this? I am using Access 2010.

    Thank you

Access requires a LOT of CPU time so don't move off the app. I too have got this effect when I tried to move odd the app, so unless you have a CRay supercomputer, I would leave access alone to compute until finished.

I didn't mention... even when I don't move off of the app, something causes it to lose focus. I assume it is caused by other applications?

    Thanks
