Retun records that do not have a related record.

I'm asking a lot today, This ones an easy one though.

I want my query to show me which records do not have a related record.

The records in question are "site" - a geographical location, and "job" - a period of work we are at that location.

I want to see which sites do not have a related job. The relationship is one site can have many jobs.

I have tried making a query just showing the site name and job_ID but this wont work because it looks to show records in Job_ID.

I can and have done this manually, I would like to have a form that I can do this from though. So obviously I need a query to show them.

I import the sites from a spreadsheet then I create a job for them. When a job is made on the system it doesn't have much information at all, but it still needs to exist for everything else to work.

    Hope I've been clear enough.

Pretty clear Andy. Use the Access query wizard and try the Unmatched query.

Works like a charm. Soon enough I'll know all the basics... there can't be much more to learn haha.

So much easier, I can make the new records from the query in a few clicks.
