Red face Need form to open upon database opening

I need to make a particular form open when my database opens. I know I need to use a macro, and I thought if I used autoexec in the title when I built my macro it was a tip to the database to open that macro immediately and proceed with the actions listed. Am I totally off base here? My macro works fine when I single step it, but then when I close the database and reopen it, the macro does not begin automatically and I still have to choose the form I want from the navigation pane rather than having it open right up to it for my employees. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. I'm obviously new to access!

You can do it with an autoexec macro, but the more common way is to set it up in:

    Office Button/Access Options/Current Database/Display Form

If your macro isn't running, likely the database is not in a trusted location.

Thank you very much! I realized I was adding descriptors to the end of autoexec in my macro title and that was why it wasn't running. But I want to try the other alternative you suggested, using the office button route. Thanks for replying, and so quickly, too!!

Ah yes, the name has to be "autoexec" for it to run automatically. Happy to help, and welcome to the site!
