    Backup Database

Can you please help I have an MS Access 2003 Database that was set up a number of years ago. I was able to backup the database when plugging in a USB, as I have now changed to a new USB the database won't back up. As you can see from the screenshot there are very little options, is there a way of backing up the database now without the original USB.

If you still have the original USB, find out where it was backing up to on that USB, then recreate the folder structure on your new USB.
If this is done, and it still won't backup, the process of swapping the USB may have given the new USB a different drive letter. See if you can set the drive letter on the usb to match what the old one was.
If none of these helps, I think you'll need to dig into the code to find out what the hangup is.

You should also be able to back up the db by simply copying it (when nobody is in it) from Windows Explorer. Get both front and back ends if it's split.

By the way, hard to read an upside-down picture.

Thanks for the input, we don't have the old USB and I have tried copying it, but it is only saved on the desktop and when saving it to the USB it is only a shortcut that is saved. Any more help would be really appreciated.

Sounds like you are saving a shortcut on the desktop. Look a the shortcut properties to see where it is a shortcut to
