Exactly what do you not understand about creating a query?

    Use the Access query builder.

    This is basic Access functionality.

I need to create a query that caculates the Gratuity on a room service order (18%) or spa treatment (25%) Gratuity is a caculates field and if there is not a spa treatment or room service a zero should be displayed in the Gratuity field.

I don't know your db structure or field names, so example of an expression is:

    [Charge] * IIf([order type] = "room service", 0.18, IIf([order type] = "spa", 0.25, 0))

Probably. Change the percent constants as needed.
