    Access 2016 runtime?

Does anyone have any information about the 2016 access runtime? Does Microsoft plan to release an access 2016 runtime? Thank you for your help.

I do not believe it is available yet. Is there a specific reason why you need 2016? Why not use Access 2013 RT?

Exceptions that occur during Run Time can only be managed via Debug Time. Debug Time is not available in the free RT. This is true for all versions of the Access free RT.

I bought Access 2016 and asked Microsoft for Runtime. They replied, saying that it is not yet available, and can't tell me when it will be, only that it will be made available. They also said that MS Access 2016 will not work with Access 2013 Runtime. I feel tricked, as Ms Access 2016 is pretty useless for me without Runtime and I wouldn't have bought if I knew this.

Some developers are saying that they are indeed able to run MS Access 2016 on MS Access 2013 Runtime. I will try it and post the results. Apparently there are problems with references to older versions of MS Office and libraries may have to be updated.
