    Conditional Formatting in Access 2010 crashes application

    I have a form with a subform with several columns using conditional formatting.


    The form has often crashed when the user scrolls down the subform datasheet.
    I have tested in different 2010 version, with SP1, SP2, etc. All of them have the same issue.
    The tables are all ODBC linked tables (MySql). The Windows report error always shows the same DLL: acedao.dll.
    Removing the formatting solves the problem, that's why I'm sure it's causing the problem!
    I really need to format some columns conditionally, that's something I cannot give up.
    Any help is welcome. Below is the windows report of the crash:

    it is likely that your condition in the conditional formatting is generating an error, perhaps not handling a null, or treating as the wrong datatype

Please reply to this thread with any new information or opinions.
