Creating a Form from a query

    http://www.functionx.com/access/Lesson29.htm

In the tutorial shown above it says after naming a query Maryland and Virginia Listing to create a tabular form.

I am a guessing that you can create a form from this query the same way that you create

a form from a table. They are different things, of course, but the use of record source and control would be the same.

Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Respectfully,

use the form wizard, it will ask you to build from a table or a query.
    you pick.

I created the form at now. However when I click on it to open it, I get a dialogue box looking for some
    input. It reads

    Query1.City

and has space for input. I can input just about anything and it will then
open up to the form. I am not sure how to debug this. Any help appreciated.

if you run the query by itself, does the prompt appear? If so the query needs changed.
If not the problem is in the form. A textbox on the form is referencing a field on the query which does not exist.
Open the form in design mode an look for a city textbox and see what its Control Source is.

I'm surprised it's not referencing [Maryland and Virginia Listing].City since the query is no longer named Query1

Yes, the error asking for a value in the dialogue box. It does occur when I run the query itself.
