    Hide Duplicates in a report

A report with multiple lines with name. I have chosen the 'Hide Duplicate' option on the name text box and when the report is printed all is well. However in the display prior to printing when the print option popup is present no name are shown. Some simple setting?

Unique records only property in either the report or the query tied to the report?

you have to set that in the query properties and the query can only show the field you want no dup in the other fields can be in the query but not show uncheck the show box.
open query in design and click the properties and select yes under dup values

It would say "Unique Values Only" or "Unique Records Only", set one or both to yes and see if any of that solves the problem

in the query on the check box for each field you can only have the field you want to check for unique values checked
