Embed dynamic Access fields into a diagram as captions.

I would like to embed an diagram onto an Access form.
In the image, I would like to embed Access fields as captions to show the dimensions of the diagram.
When the user adds or changes data, the captions will update.

I'm not sure if I should use a PowerPoint slide, a Visio diagram or something else. I'd like any suggestions about the most practical way of doing this, if it is at all possible.

you can embed the image, but why have 2 sets of depth, Ht, Wd,etc?
all you need is 1 box for depth (on the diagram)
1 box for HT (on the diagram)
    etc.

    Hi ranman256
If I understand the question correctly, one of the fields is a dynamic caption on the diagram the other is a data entry form field. It would be great if the dynamic captions on the diagram could also be used as data entry form fields, if that were possible. I figured from a development perspective, this would be simpler.

Not sure what a dynamic caption is, but the box labeled DEPTH , enter the depth in the box.
Depth = the number in the box.

It is not best for performance but you can place controls on top of other controls. For instance, you can place an image control on a form and then add text box controls to the same form. If you right click on a control, you can use the shortcut menu to send the control to the back or bring it forward. Perhaps that will provide you with some ideas.

    Options:

    1. VBA code that sets label Caption property

    2. Locked textbox bound to field that has the 'caption' value
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
