Forms Order By not working

I have a Form that I have its Order By property filled in and it is not ordering, any reason it would not be able to order?

ur syntax in the prop box is probably incorrect. either that, or the ORDERBYON property is not set. if ur opening the form simply though, ORDERBYON has no relevance, it's not needed

These are the expressions that are in the "Order By" property in the form properties of 3 forms that I have that are linked to the corresponding tables. The first 2 work, the 3rd one does not work.

Inspections.[Manhole Number (12)]
InspectionsDI.[Manhole Number (12)]
[Special Structures].[Manhole Number (12)]

Ok, I figured this out myself even though I am not sure why it was this way. I had dont a search on order by and I read several of the microsoft help stuff and one of them said specifically that the OrderByOn property was only shown on the access data page. They did not explain that the OrderByOn can still be set on a form. I have no clue how or where it was set to off but after I set it to on it worked as expected.
