Count Number of Records between two user inputted dates

I have a table titled Reservations.

I can't seem to get the syntax right to populate a query.

This is a select query used to count number of "Reservations" between the fields titled StartDate and EndDate. I know this is easy but Im pulling out what hair I have left.

I know the user input has to be encased in Brackets but the other syntax is what I keep jacking up. Can someone throw me a bone?
