The order database was created in Access 2007 (by prior person), then upgraded to 2010 and put on sharepoint 2010 as a split db. The users have been using it with no problem. They can run reports, browse orders, and make new orders. I was just told we were going live on sharepoint 2013 July 1. I was given access to the new portal where the db frontend was copied and started testing using the db. Everything works but one of the key parts. When I click on the create a new order button, I get run-time error 2015, you can't go to specified record that takes me to the line below when I click debug.
DoCmd.GoToRecord acDataForm, "comboForm", acNewRec
In sharepoint 2010, when you clicked the same button you would get a blank form that allowed you to enter a new order, now in sharepoint 2013 it opens the first record in the DB and gives the error mentioned above.
Please can anyone offer me help in fixing this issue.
I am hoping to buy time until I can train myself on sharepoint 2013 access services and rewrite this db application. But I don't want the users out in the cold and I don't think we will be given the opportunity to use the old portal while the rest of the world is using the new portal.
thanks very much in advance.
