    Exportin database design


    I have an access database and want to export its design - ie variable names and properties - in an excel sspreadsheet so that someone else can reproduce in another database software package

    how do i do this?

    You can use the database documenter which is on the database tools tab. But this will give you a word document rather than excel. I guess you could copy it to excel but I don't know how effective that will be

    Create a blank db. Import all objects, but for tables, just imprort structure only, no data.
    send them the db.
