How to automatically update the Quantity In field?

    Hello,
I would like to manage the current inventory instock volume. So, whenever I type a number in quantity out, access will automatically deduct the same amount in the quantity in in the same sheet.

    Please advise,
    Best Regards,

Ideally, aggregate data would NOT be saved, it would be calculated when needed. Review: http://allenbrowne.com/AppInventory.html

It is possible to do the balance calculations with queries only - without VBA. Learn how to build aggregate (GROUP BY) Totals queries. This is a common topic. Here is one https://www.accessforums.net/access/...and-27858.html

If you want to try the code, place it in a general code module so it can be called from anywhere in the db.
