Type Conversion Failure of date field in Access

Hello,

I'm getting a "Type Conversion Failure" error message when trying to import an Excel file with a date field in this format:

2014-12-16 09:00:22

I've set it to Date Type in the import wizard. Does anyone have any ideas how to resolve?

Even though CDate does successfully handle a text string in that configuration, the import wizard might have better success if the date was like:

12/16/2014 09:00:22 AM

You are using the wizard? Maybe import into text field then run an UPDATE action to populate date type field.
