See full field name in a table

Ok, this might see silly, but when I'm entering data into my table, it would be really helpful to see the full name of the field, but as you all prob know, this entails increasing the column width, which I'd really rather not do. Any way to increase the row height of the top row with the field names? The link is to a pic of a table in case what i'm asking isn't obvious

IMHO it would be far better to use a form to enter the data. Tables are made to hold data, not to enter that data. A form can be designed to look however you want it to look.

It's not to enter the data, it's simply to see the table itself when I need to potentially create or delete fields. I upload data and use an update when handling the import.

As Bob suggested, use forms for the interface. Do not have users work on tables directly.
You can design forms with textboxes etc to show text as you/users need it.

How often do you have to create new fields? This seems a rather unusual request.
If you have to add a field to a table, then in table design view you get the fields listed vertically.
Is that not sufficient for you as a developer to interface with a table to add a field rarely?
    Good luck.

Actually, I'm an idiot. I somehow was thinking the field columns had to be universal, and they don't

I really only need this as I'm creating my initial table structure, particularly as I play with trying to get the most intuitive names for the fields. Trust me, I will not be using the tables to add/make changes to data.
