    Post Access installation seems corrupt

A client is seeing strange behavior with Access 2013. The problem does not appear to be with the database itself because it works just fine on other machines. Here are the symptoms:

    - In the Navigation Pane, when you click on the down arrow, you get this list:
    ----Custom
    ----Object Type (checked)
    ----Tables and Related Views
    ----Created Date
    ----Modified Date
    ----[Filter by Group]
    ----Flat Report
    ----Tables
    ----Database Diagrams
    ----Forms
    ----Modules

    - When you click on Tables you get the Queries; when you click on Forms you get the Reports. I can't remember what the other ones bring up. Obviously "Flat Report" and Database Design" shouldn't be there.

    - In Form Design, if I select a row of objects, right click and select Align" I get this list:
    ----About Microsoft Access
    ----Left
    ----Right
    ----Top
    ----To Grid
Notice that there is no Bottom and instead I get "About Microsoft Access"

    - Finally, going between Form View and Form Design is very slow (2 to 3 minutes) and this is a very small database.

We've done a repair and a complete reinstall, but the problem persists. It looks to me that there is something wrong with the links in the Access metadata Any ideas?

take this over to Microsoft web site for your operating system and/or edition of Office...... it is fundamentally an OS/install issue....
