    Search Form Query Results

I have a basic search form that has unbound text boxes. These unbound text boxes search a table of classes. The search form works great. However I would like the results displayed in a window instead of the tabbed datasheet. I have tried numerous times with no success. What am I missing?

Create a form that uses the query as its record source.

This only helps readers if you specify WHAT you have tried and what resulted.
Be more specific; show your work.

I have tried putting the query as the record source. It still spawns a datasheet with the results.

To be more specific this is what I have:

    Forms:
Search Form (this form has the unbound text boxes that are able to be filled with the searchable data. I have a single button on the bottom titled "Search". The button runs the query titled "Form Schedule Search Query"
It works fine, but everytime the results of the search spawn a new datasheet. I want them in a window that doesnt overtake the whole screen.

    Query:
Form Schedule Search Query: It searches for Scheduled Course Data in the following fields: FY, CourseListing, ClassNumber, ReportDate, StartDate, EndDate, Shift.
