query expiry to show just out of date

I am making a database and I have made a query that has (Out: DateAdd("yyyy",[service years],[discharge/refill])-180) which is 180 off the discharge date, what I cant get to work is for it to show just the out off date, I have tried <Date() and that comes up with data type mismatch in criteria expression, but before that message comes up it shows the information that I want

any ideas would be very helpful
