    Match query using 5 characters


    I have 2 tables in a query that I would like to find where the address in both tables match using the first 5 character only.

    What have you done so far? What is the table structure?

    I have two tables I brought into a query. I then joined the address field and the license field. I created a statement using a left of 5 criteria. I'm getting no matches. I did a ra some check and there are records where the license and address are the same.

Please reply to this thread with any new information or opinions.
