Edit Capability Limited to Certain Control Sources

    Hi,

I have a form that has a mixture of Text boxes and Combo boxes. Currently, the form allows editing capability. However, I only want one Text box to have editing capability, the other combo boxes I do not.

I tried to set the Combo boxes to "Locked", and this does prohibit any editing, but unfortunately also causes the user to not be able to change combo box values.

Any help is appreciated on how to get around this issue.

    Thanks,

SOLVED: Sorry, I was under the assumption that you could edit records through a combo box. This turned out to be incorrect.

Yes, can edit record through combobox if combobox is bound to field. Selected item from list is saved into record.

Exactly what are you trying to accomplish?
