    How to show specific data item in a combo box which is tied to bound field

    I have a form with several combo boxes to aid in populating certain bound fields placed on a form. I want to automatically select a specific field in a Combo box and have the Combo box drop down with that particular field selected. I have tried:
    Me.cbxContributorID.column(0).value = BANKID where BANKID is a constant = 39

    The errro says I need an object to do this operation. cbxContributorID is the name of the Combo box on the form. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks

    If that's the bound column, try without the Column property:

    Me.cbxContributorID = BANKID
