Issue viewing all records on a split database

Hello,



I have a split database with the back end on a sharedrive. I have the front end saved on my own drive and the same for my colleague.

When I view the front end version of my colleagues, I can see a records on there that she has input but I can't see them when I open my own copy of the front end plus when I view the back end I can't see the records there at all. Anyone know why this is happening?

Are you sure the table on the frontend is linked to the backend tables?
I'm not sure it will help not it will not hurt. Try to compact and repair the backend and frontend database.
Also try to re-link and double check the frontend table to make sure they are point to the correct backend database tables.

colleague is linked to a different back end....that is the only explanation.

I sent her a fresh copy and linked it again and she now sees what i see, she created a record and I looked in the back end and it's there. So, I don't know where she linked the back end too, I can't find it......

The link manager should show you where the linked table is or if you hover the linked table it will also show you where the backend database database file is.
