    Select from Middle of Data

    Hi,

    I am looking query that extract word from middle of the data I have like: -

    Webaddress
    -------------------------------------
    www.dell.com
    www.microsoft.com
    http://www.HP.com

    I need to extract only dell, Microsoft, HP from middle of the webaddress.

    Mid(x, InStr(x,"w.")+2, Len(Mid(x, InStr(x,"w.")+2))-4)

    Thanks a Lot June7 but one more thing if webaddress end with .co.in or .co or .in or .sg. or .com.fr how do i extract "dell", "Microsoft", "HP" from it.

Please reply to this thread with any new information or opinions.
