Registering the data entered into a form in a table and a query

    Hey,

I'll start by saying that I have little experience and knowledge of Access. I followed this tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0AHGgfYuFi8 and as you can see at minute 20:17 the "Bought" table contains IDs, and I don't like that, I wanted to have the customer's name and the book's title there instead, that's why I created a query based on the "Vanzari" (orders) table and placed in that query only the fields that I wanted. I want the "Vanzari Formular" form to be the place where you can create new orders which should appear in "Vanzari Query" query. The problem is that the data entered in some fields from "Vanzari Formular" don't register correctly in the "Vanzari" table and "Vanzari Query" query. Probably the answer to my problem is an easy one, but I just can't see it... I'd highly appreciate some help.

Suggest you complete the tutorials before trying to design your db. I can't view Youtube but I expect the Bought table is conventional design to comply with relational database principles.

Here is another tutorial site you might work through. http://www.rogersaccesslibrary.com/

I can't download your files now, maybe later. I could now if they were attached to post. Follow instructions at bottom of my post.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.

Tried to download the dB - error message > "The file you're looking for has been moved or deleted."
