    Fictional store Database design

    Hi everyone,

I'm working on a database design for a fictional video store for a database class. I'm a pretty new to Access so, my apologies if this is a remedial problem. I have a Main table with my customer information (Customer ID name etc.) and along with the movie information (Movie name, type). And I want to make a form for new customers where they can enter their information, and select all the movies they want, it's genre, release year ect. and once they submit it, have all this information added into the main table.

I have a big list of movies in a separate table they can choose from, but I have no idea how to get it so a person can pick a movie, or movies, but also select all the other movie information.

    -Thanks

    Edit: I'm using Access 2007

Work through this tutorial; make an ERD to ensure your tables and relationships support your "business rules". You will learn concepts and a process that you can use with your own database.

There are free data models at http://www.databaseanswers.org/data_...tal_dezign.htm
