"Add user" subform won't show up!

So I have a database I'm designing and I have a datasheet that displays the list of users, and then another form to allow the entry of a new user.

I wanted to lock the column widths and positioning of the datasheet, and was suggested that I use continuous forms instead. So I checked that out, decided it wasn't what I wanted, went back to the datasheet, and now my "add user form" shows up blank.

I have a main navigation form, that when the user clicks on "Tools" it brings up a navigation subform that has the "view users" and "add user" nav buttons which both open a subform.

I had it working fine before, but now it's messed up. I'm worried I clicked the wrong setting or property right now, but I can't find anything wrong. The add user is set to data entry and to allow additions. It's a modal form and the "submit" button has a few checks to make sure the data was entered and then a vbYesNo msgbox to confirm and close.

The subform is not open in design mode anywhere else. I've closed and reopened and also done a compact and repair. The "add user" subform shows the header but not the details. This is driving me nuts, does anyone have any ideas?

Do you have a copy of db from before that finagling?

Are you using Navigation form? I don't like and don't use.

If you want to provide db for analysis, follow instructions at bottom of my post.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.

    Hi June!

Sorry for the delayed response. What ended up happening was on the navigation form (which I've gathered you don't like.......I see why) I had "allow data entry/additions/etc" all turned to no. Once I set those to "Yes" the form shows up perfectly

So, next time someone freaks out like that, that might be the first thing I'd suggest!
