I'd like to remove an alert for an update query. I see Set Warnings in the macro list, but that doesn't seem to help. I'd possibly like to change the complicated warning text to read something simpler for the end user..

Set warnings to false at beginning of procedure then back to true at end.
Why doesn't it help? It should - what happens?
I use only VBA. Code to execute SQL action without warnings:
DoCmd.Execute "UPDATE ..."

Oh, wait, I need to change my order I guess. I'll see what that does. Thanks!
It worked. Thank you!
