    Query showing totals

I created a query that can show the total for 1 site, however, if i include the dates, the result will breakdown on how many dates are there. How can I get the final result only for the site, totals only with a criteria of Site and Dates in between.

If you only want to see totals and not the details, then don't you already have that with the aggregate Sum query?

What do you mean by 'criteria of Site and Dates in between'? Maybe you should build a report and use Grouping & Sorting features with aggregate calcs in group footer. This will allow display of detail records as well as summary calculations.

Your suggestion is taken into account, but can it not be done in the query?

It is not possible to show subtotal rows in a query. It is possible to show totals on each detail line, but would require 2 queries or domain aggregate DSum function.

Note that you can also show a single Totals line at the bottom of your query (but not Subtotals).
Here is a link on how to do that (see Alan's reply and link: http://www.mrexcel.com/forum/microso...ml#post3989985).
