Barcode scanner Motorola LS2208 with Access?

I 'm thinkig of bying this device in order to use it with ms Access.
(to read barcode and enter it in a textbox of a form. And also to create Barcode which will be readable by the scanner).
    Is it a suitable device?
    What's your opinion?

    From it's datasheet:
    Decode Capability:
    UPC/EAN, UPC/EAN with Supplementals,
    UPC/EAN 128, Code 39, Code 39 Full ASCII, Code 39 TriOptic,
Code 128, Code 128 Full ASCII, Codabar, Interleaved 2 of 5,
    Discrete 2 of 5, Code 93, MSI, Code 11, IATA, GS1 DataBar
(formerly RSS) variants, Chinese 2 of 5
    Interfaces

    USB, RS232, Keyboard Wedge, Wand,
    Supported:

    IBM 468x/9x, Synapse and Undecoded

It scans the barcode and sends ASCII code (text) to the focused text box in my access Form?
    Am I getting this right?

(for barcode creation I 'm planning to use is this)

Yes you also need to install a barcode font into windows as well, use code39 its the most common

using the kb wedge option, barcodes are scanned into the current field of any s/w, eg word excel access.

to print a barcode enclose the field with * at start and end. you may have to build a string to include them.
