Make Access look like a program for end-users

    Hello!

I want to make Access look like a professional program for end-users. I want the ribbons gone and objects list gone too. All what end user can do is to use the forms I created to display reports or add new records.

    How can I do that?

And is it possible to edit access after making it into a program for end-user?

    Thanks!

Can do some of that with database option settings: File > Options > Current Database > make choices.

    For ribbon customization review: https://www.accessforums.net/access/...bon-45826.html

For hiding the app window frame:

    For securing database

How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.

Thank you, June7 will try it now.

But will it be in a separate application and the Access file remains as it is for future editing?
I want to share it in a shared folder so people can use it as an application.

A db for multiple simultaneous users should be split and each user has a copy of the frontend on their local workstation.

The last link I referenced discusses managing a split db. Also https://www.accessforums.net/code-re...end-33331.html

Always keep a master copy of the accdb file. If you distribute an accde version, will have to do edits in the accdb and re-distribute as accde.

Hold down shift key when opening accdb to bypass most of the option settings to open in development mode.
