Dear All,
I have total of 3730 records in my table, where as my dlast function shows 3713 as the last record. Can any one help?
I would be grateful.

Try DMax() instead.

Yes it worked, but I am surprised why the Dlast function stopped working properly, as it was working previously. Can you guide on it, dear June?
Records do not have a set order, they are just 'bits in a bucket'. Cannot depend on the record order being the order entered into table. DFirst and DLast will not always produce the desired output, as you experienced. Don't think I have ever used them. I have no idea what use they can serve.

Got it & thanks a ton for such favor.
