Properties like the caption of fields in table are adopted by controls when the field is added to form or report from the form/report designer Field List. Otherwise, will have to manually type whatever you want in the label.

The labels are correct. I want the field headers of the form to show the captions in datasheet view, just like the table does.
Thanks
In Table Design View
- Select a Field
- Go down to the Caption Property, on the General Tab, for that Field
- Enter the text you want to display (without Quotes)
- Repeat for each Field
Note that this will not be reflected in existing Forms...only in Forms created after the Captions were entered.
The Labels 'being correct' doesn't really come into it, in a Datasheet View Form; Labels aren't displayed in this type of Form View.

The problem with making anything foolproof...is that fools are so darn ingenious!

The datasheet view should take as headers the caption of label associated with the textbox or combobox. If the data control does not have associated label, then the fieldname will be the header. That's what happens in my db.

How do I associate a label with a combobox?
A newly created data control should have an associated label. If there are disassociated labels and they no longer show little green triangle in upper left corner, delete label then paste back and the triangle will show (or create new label from the controls collection). Click on triangle and make choices to associate label.
