Welcome. Post specific questions for issues you encounter.

Maybe this site (one of many) will help with design. http://www.rogersaccesslibrary.com/

Breaking up the flat file to normalized structure can be a tedious, painstaking exercise. Just be careful.

Happy to help but you did not ask specific question.

If you truly have a normalized structure, that is step in right direction. But unless you provide something to analyse, that's all we can say.

thankyou once again.i can send you all the field names of the data and can add explaination in it that what records are held in the database. i am currently working for a company but its placement . i am sure its confidential data . i think that telling yourselves column headings and explaining that which table is doing what would not harm any one. e.g i have customer details in which i have one customer but multiple addresses given in flat file. i have broken the data down by creating further fields for city postcode. the problem i faced was that i have one customer and multiple addresses. my approach was to create one table with customeid(pk) and customername and have a separte table with multiple attributes with a copy of customerid(fk) from the first table. i hope this makes sense and could you please tell me in which way you want me to send the data. i will be appreciate on your feedback

That's it. If you want to provide files, follow instructions is the first line.

Do you want your db design evaluated? Provide db or diagram.

If you want the flat file reviewed, provide Excel or import records into a big flat table.

I only see the Excel file; the dB wasn't included in the zip file.
Were you going to include the dB?

Is this manufacturing data? One of the more difficult type of databases to build. Has been topic of numerous threads. Search forum.
