Unable to export a report to Excel

    Hi,

I have a simple report that displays a list of records in a table. When users click from the Print Preview view to 'Export to Excel' a message pops up stating

There is an invalid use of the . (dot) or ! operator or invalid parentheses

What could this be referring to? All the other export options (text, pdf etc.) work fine. Is it a problem with the way the report is put together?

    Thanks,

It could mean a dot in parameter reference of the report
or the parameter in the query the report uses.

Sometimes the forms.frmMy.txtbox needs to be ! not .
