Exclamation Time Input mask - arrgh!

    ai yai yai yai yai

I have two text box controls on my form (TimeIn and TimeOut). I want the user input to be like thus "14:11" (as in 2:11 in the afternoon...?) So I have this Input mask 00:00;0;_ in the property of the controls but when I go type in "14:11" and click away, the input is replaced by "#######"
    Somebody help me please.
