    Linking

I am new to the forum and new to access.

    Here is my question.

I have a table and in the table I have

    Item opertion Hours Charged date

I am using excel 2007 and a macro that will pull the information from the access query. I Have a column of dates on the excel sheet ie
    Start Finish
    01/01/2010 12/31/2010
    01/01/2009 12/31/2009
    01/01/2008 12/31/2008

I will use excel workset as a linked tab. My question is how can I make the query look for every thing greater than the start date. If I just link them it will only look for the exact date.

    Thanks

    Paul

If I am hearing you right, you want to be able to pull in records in access filtering on a start date to limit the records. If I am right, I think it will be easier to pull them in and filter them once they are in access. Anotherwords, apply the filter to your query in access to only show the records you want.
