cTreeView Control vs Microsoft TreeView Control 6.0

I am trying to use TreeView in Access. I followed steps I found by googling TreeView however the steps note that I should use Microsoft TreeView Control 6.0 which I do not have. I do have cTreeviewControl. Please advise.

Also can you please direct me to where I can find clear and easy steps on how to use this control. I need to build it into by database.

I tried these steps already. My version does not have Microsoft Treeview control available.

Apparently no one has any ideas for you. Posting multiple threads on the same topic won't help and is not appreciated by management.

I have never built a treeview.

However, I did a quick search in the forum on keyword 'treeview' and got 45 threads.

I didn't mean to agitate management. I am just in need of help.

I actually felt ignored after receiving no response from my initial posting, so I have to say I didn't appreciate that as well.

Regardless, I do appreciate this website and your assistance.

    Thank you very much.

You should be aware that most of us are volunteers (exception being owner/management). There is no obligation to answer any thread, especially when there is nothing substantial to offer. In fact, a reply excludes a thread from the 'Unanswered Threads' filter and reduces its exposure to those of us who often visit the 'Unanswered Threads' filter.

I did another Bing: access Microsoft TreeView Control alternative

    Hi Zandy
I notice that you are using 64bit access, and that means that you cannot use the 32bit treeview control that comes with "Microsoft Common Control 6.0".
I don't know if cTreeview supports 64bit access. When I first started using treeviews I had so many troubles with the cTreeview that I went with the common control one.

Jan Karel has created a treeview that should work in access 64bit as well as 32bit, and I have done some limited testing on it. His page however indicates alot of positive feedback. You can try it at:
    http://www.jkp-ads.com/articles/treeview.asp

Should you decide to start using 32bit access and the microsoft common control library, you can find my treeview video tutorials on youtube:

Please reply to this thread with any new information or opinions.
